TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OF OCCUPATIONAL CENTER

Location: La Roca del Vallès Province: Barcelona Number of vacancies (positions): 1 Responsibilities \- Promote initiatives, working lines, and methodologies aligned with the person-centered care model applied across the entire FVO. \- Lead a team of 40 direct-care professionals (technical team: 2 psychologists; 1 physiotherapist; 1 social worker; 1 supervisor for activity instructors), as well as the team of activity instructors and assistant instructors, plus indirect-care staff. * Plan internal organization (grouping of service users, professional assignments) according to technical criteria. * Plan future needs (resource changes, reassessment of support level) in coordination with other internal and external professionals. * Direct the center’s activity plan, which structures the therapeutic care line for service users. * Represent the institution within their area of responsibility before public administrations (Department of Social Rights and Inclusion, Municipal Councils, Vallès Oriental County Council, health centers, etc.), families, companies, and other entities in the sector, primarily. * Final selection of personnel for their center, supported by the Human Resources Department. * Economic management, supported by the Management and Administration Department. * Member of the Centers’ Participation Council. * Member of cross-cutting technical working committees (gender and affectivity, aging, ASD, PIAI, communication). * Member of the Management Team. Requirements \- University degree in Psychology preferred. Other university degrees in the social field (social education, pedagogy, social work, etc.) are also valued. * Minimum two years’ experience in the intellectual disability sector in technical and/or managerial roles (coordination/direction). * Cross-sectoral perspective regarding other FVO services, given shared service users (e.g., those residing in residential homes). \- Experience in drafting, presenting, and implementing projects (e.g., funding lines from the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion \-CONVO\-) * Personal transportation required (workplace located at Carretera de Valldoriolf s/n, La Roca del Vallès; no public transport available). Offered \- Permanent contract * Full-time position * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. From July to mid-September: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. * Free cafeteria service * Holidays: 38 calendar days per year * Start date: Immediate
