Position Summary: We are seeking a Museum Information Officer with experience in public service to cover temporary assignments, responsible for welcoming visitors, ensuring the safety of the premises, and promoting cultural activities. We are looking to hire a Museum Information Officer to cover temporary assignments at an important cultural facility (MATBC). The selected candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors, ensuring the safety of the premises, and promoting the center’s activities. \- Welcoming and information: Greet and inform visitors about the museum’s programming, content, and services. As the facility is a Tourist Information Point (PIT), information will also be provided regarding municipal services and activities. \- Handling inquiries: Collect and forward user queries and doubts to the facility’s responsible technical staff. \- Opening and closing: Be responsible for opening, closing, and safeguarding the keys, as well as verifying the proper functioning of the premises before and after service hours. \- Security and monitoring: Activate and deactivate surveillance and alarm systems. Conduct periodic inspection rounds and monitor facilities (via closed-circuit TV or visual inspection). \- Prevention and self-protection: Act in accordance with established protocols, the Self-Protection Plan, and the Municipal Emergency Plan in case of any emergency or evacuation. * Minimum 1 year of experience. Prior experience in public service, reception, tourism, or museums will be considered favorably. * Catalan (spoken: Advanced, written: Advanced) * Spanish (spoken: Advanced, written: Advanced) * Temporary employment contract (1 month) * Part-time schedule (11 hours \- weekly workload) * Gross monthly salary ranging from '450' to '600' * Additional relevant details: Schedule: Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00 (7 hours total); Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 14:00 (4 hours total)
