**SOCIAL EDUCATOR** **For a CRAE run by Fundació Resilis** **Territorial area:** Sils, Girona **Type of contract:** Stable weekend position **Working hours:** Full-time (100%) ###### **Role mission** Fundació Resilis*defends children’s and adolescents’ rights.*It implements comprehensive support projects and services for children and young people at social risk or potentially vulnerable to such risks. It manages residential care centers, CRAEs, CREIs, open centers, and other resources. We work to ensure that children, young people, and adolescents can exercise their right to grow, live, and develop in safe environments, and to progressively achieve their autonomy. ###### **Functions and responsibilities** * Act as an educational agent at individual, group, and/or community levels. * Carry out educational activities. * Prepare reports and documentation, plan activities, and conduct educational follow-up. * Perform domestic and daily-life tasks, ensuring they are correctly carried out. * Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration both internally and externally. * Act consistently with the service’s project and the organization’s mission. * Respect the dignity of children and adolescents, their families, and all individuals at the center, regardless of origin or cultural background. * Maintain objectivity and appropriate professional distance, while establishing positive affective bonds that foster the personal development of adolescents. * Ability to work individually and in groups. * Empathy to better understand others and capacity to respond promptly in unforeseen situations. * Manage crises and conflicts. * Be creative and capable of managing available resources effectively. * Ability to work under pressure. * Commit to continuous professional development. ###### **Required qualifications** * Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Social Education or official certification ###### **Experience** * Additional specialized training in child and adolescent protection, as well as prior experience working with children and youth facing social exclusion, is desirable—preferably within a CREI, CRAE, or Residential Care Center. ###### **Key competencies** * Communication * Autonomy * Innovation and continuous improvement * Planning and organization * Analysis and problem solving * Teamwork ###### **Other requirements** * Additional specialized training in child and adolescent protection, as well as prior experience working with children and youth facing social exclusion, is desirable—preferably within a CREI, CRAE, or Residential Care Center. * Proficiency in spoken and written Catalan, as well as standard office software. * Valid driver’s license held for over one year and personal vehicle. * In compliance with Article 13.5 of Organic Law 1/1996 on the Legal Protection of Minors, a valid Criminal Record Certificate for sexual offenses issued by the Central Registry is required prior to hiring. ##### **Offered** * **One fully stable position (100% working time)** * **Working hours:** * SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS FROM 9:15 A.M.
