Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented Welder for an industrial company, focused on ensuring optimal machinery performance and adherence to production plans. An industrial manufacturing company producing construction materials, urban furniture, and landscaping solutions, located in Cardedeu, requires the following: WELDER (Production Department). Reports to the Factory Manager and Production Director. - Academic qualification: Vocational Training Certificate in Welding. - Personal qualities: Analytical person, ability to work in a team, good communication skills, organizational and planning abilities. Problem-solving capability and proactivity. - Language: Spanish and Catalan. Skills: • Basic knowledge of all types of welding. • Teamwork. • Knowledge of handling and controlling welding tools and equipment. • Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks inherent to the position. • Problem-solving capability. • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Organizational capability. • Ability to work under pressure. • Time management. Objective: • Ensure proper functioning of all machinery, equipment, and facilities by performing tasks correctly. Working Hours: • Full-time, Monday to Friday. - Option of 8 hours (8:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00). - Option of 9 hours (7:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00). - Option of 10 hours (7:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00). Salary: • €27,000 (8-hour shift) – Full-time, 14 annual payments. Mission and Responsibilities: • Perform assigned tasks according to specifications outlined in production plans. • Assist in general maintenance repairs of facilities, machinery, and equipment as required. • Welding knowledge, independence, and autonomy in managing and resolving tasks. • Verify work results against technical specifications to comply with established standards. • Report malfunctions of equipment, machinery, and tools to the immediate supervisor for appropriate maintenance or repair. • Properly manage and segregate industrial waste and atmospheric emissions. • Ensure continuous optimization of energy resources. • Correctly use personal health, safety, and protective equipment at the workplace, and contribute to environmental preservation. • Maintain the workplace in appropriate order and cleanliness upon completion of daily tasks to preserve facilities and equipment. * 5 years’ experience. • Basic knowledge of all types of welding. * Welding and sheet metal fabrication. * Spanish (spoken advanced, written advanced). * Catalan (spoken intermediate, written intermediate). * Competencies / Knowledge: • Basic knowledge of all types of welding. * Own vehicle availability. * Driving license: B. * Permanent employment contract. * Full-time. * Gross monthly salary: €2,250. * Additional information: Salary: • €27,000 (8-hour shift) – Full-time, 14 annual payments + overtime.
