Position Summary: We are seeking a Mechanic or Electrician for the maintenance department, responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and facilities by performing preventive and corrective maintenance. An industrial company located in Vallès Oriental seeks to hire: **MECHANIC or ELECTRICIAN (Maintenance Department)** **Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Production Director** \- Vocational Training Level II in Electricity/Electromechanics \- Analytical person, capable of teamwork, strong communication skills, organizational and planning abilities; problem-solving and proactive mindset. \- Catalan, Spanish, and English (desirable) \- **Skills:** · Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and preservation. · Teamwork · Knowledge of handling and controlling maintenance tools and equipment · Dexterity in following instructions and executing job-related directives · Problem-solving ability · Ability to handle multitasking · Organizational ability · Ability to work under pressure · Time management **Objective:** · Ensure the proper functioning of all machinery, equipment, and facilities by carrying out maintenance operations and repairs on installations, machinery, and organizational equipment. **Mission and Responsibilities:** · Carry out tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, adhering to specifications outlined in the company’s **preventive and corrective maintenance plans**, in accordance with the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS). · Assist in general maintenance repairs of facilities, machinery, and work equipment. · Electrical knowledge, independence, and autonomy in fault resolution. · Ability to identify root causes of problems. · Ability to read electrical schematics. · Verify work results against technical specifications to comply with established standards. · Report equipment, machinery, and tool malfunctions to the immediate supervisor for appropriate maintenance or repair. · Properly manage and segregate industrial waste and atmospheric emissions. · Ensure continuous optimization of energy resources. · Correctly use personal health, safety, and protective equipment at the workplace, and contribute to environmental preservation. · Maintain the workplace in appropriate order and cleanliness at the end of each day to preserve facilities and equipment. **Working Hours:** · Full-time, Monday to Friday \- Option of 8 hours (8:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00) \- Option of 9 hours (7:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00) \- Option of 10 hours (7:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00) **Salary:** · €30,000 Negotiable (8-hour workday) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract Salary: €2,500.00–€2,800.00 per month Benefits: * Free parking Application Questions: * Where do you currently reside? * Do you have your own vehicle? * What is your experience in similar positions? * What are your salary expectations for an 8-hour workday?
