Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to develop 3D models, define materials, assess design feasibility, and manage prototypes for a leading manufacturer. Permanent contract with a leading company offering flexible working hours A leading machinery manufacturer located in the Vallès Oriental region is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop 3D models and drawings * Specify purchased materials * Assess design feasibility through testing and calculations * Manage prototype commissioning * Prepare documentation prior to industrialization * Minimum three years’ experience as a mechanical designer in the industrial sector (preferably with machinery manufacturers and/or capital goods suppliers) * Hold an advanced vocational qualification in mechanical project development and/or machining * Solid expertise in 3D design (Solid Edge and/or SolidWorks) for sheet metal, steel, and machined parts * Knowledge of SAP and TeamCenter will be valued * Knowledge of welding, laser cutting, bending, and dynamic and structural calculation will be valued * Permanent contract with a sector-leading company * Flexible split working hours from Monday to Thursday (intensive Friday) * Remuneration package commensurate with experience and expertise provided.
