CONSTRUCTION WORKER (BRIGADE)

Summary: We are seeking a Construction Worker (Brigade) for maintenance, assembly, and cleaning tasks within the public administration. Highlights: 1. Required experience in maintenance and construction work 2. Varied tasks in assembly, painting, and cleaning 3. Medium-to-long-term substitute contract IT substitute contract (medium-to-long-term) for performing construction worker tasks within the public administration. Assembly of pallets Placement of traffic signs Painting tasks on urban equipment Maintenance tasks Cleaning of storm drains using pumps Asphalt work Preparation of mortar, concrete, etc. Transportation of tools and construction materials And generally any other similar construction work assigned * 3 years’ experience. - Preparation of mortar and concrete using a concrete mixer truck - Assembly and disassembly of structures, signage, pavements, etc. - Assembly and disassembly of tents for schools - Inspection of playgrounds or structures - Breaking with hammer - Use of machinery required to carry out assigned work - Transportation of work materials - Supply of construction materials - Driving municipal vehicles - Performing certain painting tasks - Performing general carpentry work (doors, shutters, etc.) - Performing general maintenance tasks - Specific cleaning tasks - And generally any other similar construction work assigned * First Stage of Secondary Education (with official qualification) * Spanish (spoken Intermediate, written Intermediate) * Catalan (spoken Intermediate, written Intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Catalan Level A2 (with official certification); minimum education level: Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), School Graduate, or higher * Driving license: B * Temporary employment contract (2 months) * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary: 1676 * Other relevant information: Monthly salary paid in 14 installments Intensive morning schedule from Monday to Friday: Monday and Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (7.5 hours) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (7 hours)
