Job Summary: We are seeking a welder for an industrial construction materials company, responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment, and performing welding operations. Opportunity to work autonomously and resolve issues An industrial company manufacturing construction materials, urban furniture, and landscaping products, located in Cardedeu, is looking to hire: WELDER (Production Department). Reports to the Factory Manager and Production Director. Objective: • Ensure the proper functioning of all machinery, equipment, and facilities by performing tasks correctly. Mission and Responsibilities: • Carry out assigned tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor, complying with specifications established in production plans. • Assist in general maintenance repairs of facilities, machinery, and work equipment, if necessary. • Knowledge of welding, independence, and autonomy to handle administrative matters. • Verify work results according to technical specifications to comply with established standards. • Report equipment, machinery, and tool malfunctions to the immediate supervisor for respective maintenance or repair. • Properly manage and segregate industrial waste and atmospheric emissions. • Ensure continuous optimization of energy resources. • Correctly use personal health, safety, and protective equipment at the workplace, and contribute to environmental preservation. • Maintain the workplace in appropriate conditions of order and cleanliness upon completing daily tasks to preserve facilities and equipment. * 5 years of experience. • Basic knowledge of all types of welding * Welding and boiler-making * Spanish (spoken advanced, written advanced) * Catalan (spoken intermediate, written intermediate) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Basic knowledge of all types of welding \- Academic training: Vocational Training (FP) in Welding \- Personal qualities: Analytical person, ability to work in a team, good communication skills, organizational and planning abilities. Problem-solving and proactive capabilities. \- Languages: Spanish and Catalan. Skills: • Basic knowledge of all types of welding • Teamwork • Knowledge of handling and operating welding tools and equipment. • Ability to follow instructions and implement job-related directives. • Problem-solving capability. • Ability to handle multitasking. • Organizational capability. • Ability to work under pressure. • Time management. * Vehicle availability * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: 2250 * Additional information of interest: Salary: • €27,000 (8-hour workday) – Full-time, 14 annual payments \+ overtime hours Working hours: • Full-time, Monday to Friday \- Option of 8 hours (8:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00) \- Option of 9 hours (7:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00) \- Option of 10 hours (7:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00)
