PHYSIOTHERAPIST (M/F)

We are seeking a physiotherapist to join our team at a residential care facility for elderly people. The selected candidate will be responsible for promoting, maintaining, and improving the functional capacity and quality of life of residents through individualized treatments and rehabilitation programs, working in coordination with the center’s interdisciplinary team. We offer integration into a stable work environment, with a team committed to person-centered care, continuous training, and opportunities for professional development. \- Assess the functional status of residents and develop individualized treatment plans. \- Apply physiotherapy treatments aimed at rehabilitation, maintenance, and prevention of functional limitations. \- Plan and lead group-based gymnastics and therapeutic exercise sessions, adapted to residents’ capabilities, to maintain or improve mobility, strength, balance, and autonomy. \- Design and conduct individual rehabilitation and functional mobilization sessions. \- Develop fall prevention programs, identifying risk factors and implementing preventive measures to reduce their incidence. \- Prevent complications arising from immobility and promote residents’ autonomy. \- Record assessments, interventions performed, and functional progress of residents in the center’s clinical records. \- Participate in the development, monitoring, and review of the Individualized and Interdisciplinary Care Plan (PIAI), contributing the physiotherapy-specific assessment and objectives. \- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, and social work) to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care. Advise residents, their families, and center professionals on mobilizations, transfers, ergonomics, and preventive measures. \- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and materials. * Experience: 6 months. A minimum of 6 months’ experience as a physiotherapist is required. Experience in residential care facilities for elderly people, sociosanitary centers, or other services for older adults will be especially valued, as well as knowledge in geriatric rehabilitation, fall prevention, and group-based therapeutic exercise. * Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Permanent employment contract * Part-time position (25 hours \- weekly schedule) * Gross monthly salary ranging from '763' to '1320' * Additional information: Schedule: Initially afternoon shifts, with possible morning shifts depending on the center’s organizational needs and the professional’s availability. Weekly schedule distribution and hour allocation will be determined according to service planning and current labor regulations.
