Occupational Therapist (Temporary Position)

Description

**Workplace** The candidate will join the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department and will be assigned to the Intermediate Care Unit and the Adolf Montanyà Residence. **Main Responsibilities** * Assess the functional capacities of patients admitted to the Intermediate Care Unit and develop individualized intervention plans. * Deliver treatments aimed at maintaining or restoring autonomy in activities of daily living. * Facilitate adaptation to situations of disability or functional loss. * Provide advice on assistive devices and technical aids to enhance safety and independence. * Actively participate in the interdisciplinary team, coordinating\-with other healthcare professionals. * Deliver occupational therapy treatments to residents of the Hospital Geriatric Center. * Design and lead psycho-stimulation groups to enhance cognitive functions, participation, and residents' well-being. **Professional Competencies** * Patient orientation * Teamwork * Efficiency and problem-solving * Adaptability to change **Offered** * Temporary employment contract to cover vacation periods, with incorporation on specific days between late July and early September, according to the service’s established work schedule. * Integration into a people-oriented organization that promotes professional well-being and work-life balance. * Integration into a hospital and department undergoing growth and expansion. * Opportunity to undertake internal and external training. **Requirements** * Bachelor's or Licentiate Degree in Occupational Therapy. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience as an occupational therapist in a hospital or residential care facility.
