




Country Spain Province Blanes - Girona Application Deadline 28/01/2026 Category Direct Care, Cooperation / Emergency / Humanitarian Aid **Information about the NGO** Diaconia **Rating** (1 rating) **info** Response rate: 50.89% **info** **Objective** ------------ **Job Mission:** To promote the holistic development of the individuals we work with, focusing primarily on educational planning and the design of socio-laboral pathways, facilitating access to educational, social, and cultural opportunities to improve their quality of life. **Main Job Responsibilities:** * Preparation and reception of program beneficiaries at the facility * Support and/or accompany beneficiaries in managing their daily routines and various administrative procedures (medical, administrative, shopping, etc.) to enhance their learning and level of autonomy. * Collaboratively define beneficiaries’ goals and conduct needs assessments through continuous design and monitoring of personalized pathways. * Manage distribution of appropriate program support by analyzing each individual’s socioeconomic situation and maintaining budgetary records and control for the project. * Mediate conflict situations and organize activities, assemblies, and workshops that foster learning in conflict resolution and improvement of coexistence. * Establish local networks and coordination mechanisms to facilitate the real integration of beneficiaries, involving them in available resources and strengthening their community participation. * Prepare socio-educational reports and any other documentation required for proper program management. * Support logistical management of the program and ensure appropriate justification of final reports. * Ensure proper implementation of the program, as well as appropriate maintenance and hygiene of the facility. * Support preparation for transition to the autonomy phase, coordinated with the Social Work department. * Team meetings to ensure effective activity implementation: coordination for pathway follow-up and interventions requiring collaboration across cross-cutting departments, under supervision by OC. * Support and follow-up in housing searches. * Serve as the designated contact person for home visits. * Design, schedule, and conduct group workshops aimed at developing personal and social skills, and acquiring new knowledge contextualized within the host society. * Identify and refer beneficiaries to external resources. * Advise, accompany, and monitor beneficiaries in opening bank accounts. * Handle emergencies via telephone on-call duties. * Carry out tasks assigned by local coordination. * Record interventions and documentation using designated tools. * Perform other duties assigned according to the needs of the service units. **Profile:** * Bachelor’s or Diploma Degree in Social Education — MANDATORY * Contract type: Permanent * 39 working hours per week * Location: Blanes * Applicable collective agreement: National Agreement on Social Action and Intervention — Professional Group: GROUP 1 * Experience performing similar functions * Working hours: Monday–Friday, 14:00–21:48 * Location: Blanes, Girona At Diaconía, we are committed to creating equitable, inclusive, and fair workplaces.
