




We are seeking 1 environmental educator to implement the new waste collection service using closed containers and user identification in Mataró. Tasks will include accompanying users who wish to use the closed containers and resolving any questions they may have regarding the service. Monitoring of these container areas will be carried out to detect illegal dumping outside containers, overflowing containers, and other related issues. In cases where a user is found without their assigned access material (e.g., key), they will be redirected to the customer service office for delivery of the required material and subsequent participation in the service. Start date: Monday, 22 December 2025 End date: 17 January 2026 Working hours: 32 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Saturday (with one day off), split shift from 8:00–11:30 and 17:00–20:00 * 25 and 26 December and 1 and 6 January are non-working days. Salary: €18,000 gross per year for full-time work. 1. Addressing citizens’ questions regarding the operation of the new collection system. 2. Distributing access material (key) to users who did not receive it at the designated distribution point. 3. Informing and raising awareness about proper waste separation. * Minimum 3 months’ experience. Experience in environmental education and other information campaigns will be valued. * Catalan (spoken: advanced; written: advanced) * Competencies / qualifications: Technician or graduate with a higher education degree or university degree in environmental sciences and/or social education. * Driving license: B * Temporary employment contract (1 month) * Part-time position (32 hours per week) * Additional relevant information: Salary: €18,000 per year based on a 40-hour workweek.
