




Position Summary: We are seeking an Accountant for the Administration and Finance Department in Girona, responsible for managing the company's and national subsidiaries' general accounting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of the company's and subsidiaries' general accounting. 2. Assistance in tax preparation and bank reconciliations. 3. Support during audits and handling of accounting documentation. At Construcciones Rubau, we have over 50 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, covering activities such as construction, concessions, conservation, and maintenance of civil engineering and building projects. Additionally, we have diversified into specialized divisions focused on water management, waste management, renewable energy, and rehabilitation, operating across multiple countries including Mexico, Poland, and Spain. We are seeking an Accountant for the Administration and Finance Department at our Girona office, from which more than 10 subsidiaries located throughout the national territory are managed. **Main responsibilities will include:** * Management of the company's general accounting. * Control and recording of supplier and subcontractor invoices. * Preparation and filing of taxes (VAT, Personal Income Tax). * Bank reconciliations and treasury management. * Support for internal and external audits. * Management of accounting documentation and archiving. **Requirements:** * Education in Accounting, Business Administration and Management, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting department, preferably within the construction sector. * Solid knowledge of current accounting and tax regulations. * Proficiency in accounting management software and ERP systems. * Advanced Excel skills. * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Organizational and planning skills. * Teamwork capability and effective communication skills. **Preferred qualifications:** * Experience with ERP systems such as Business Central, NAVISION, or similar financial management systems. * Knowledge of construction-sector-specific regulations. **We offer:** * Indefinite-term full-time contract. * Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00–17:30; Friday, 8:00–14:30 (flexible start time)
