Job Summary: We are seeking a waiter/waitress assistant to join the F&B team of a 5-star hotel, supporting dining room service and table setup, ensuring an excellent guest experience. The candidate will join the F\&B team at Hotel Camiral (5-star hotel – Leading Hotels of the World), reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager. **Responsibilities** ---------- * Breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. Assist with closing procedures for each service, including dining room cleaning and reorganization. * Serve food and beverages as required during dining room service. * Reset tables and replenish necessary glassware, tableware, cutlery, and linens so that sideboards are always fully stocked with the correct service items. * Set tables, organize them properly, position chairs correctly, and prepare all table service equipment. * Prepare hot beverages according to company standards. * Fold napkins and polish glassware and cutlery. * Serve lunch, desserts, and coffee to guests, with full knowledge of the available menu offerings. * Remove dirty dishes from tables. **Requirements** -------------- * Prior experience as a waiter/waitress assistant and in other roles related to food service and customer interaction. * Hospitality education is valued; international experience is highly desirable. * Previous experience as a waiter/waitress assistant. * Languages: Spanish and intermediate-to-advanced English. * Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required to access the resort. **Benefits** -------------- * Stable employment contract (permanent discontinuous contract). * Gross monthly salary of €1700, paid in 12 installments. * Accommodation included (no need to bring your own lunch!). * Intensive shift schedule: * Morning shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. * Night shift: 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. * Rotating shifts (e.g., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., etc.). * Company activities: paddle tennis tournaments among staff, pilates classes, mindfulness sessions, and much more! * Access to Camiral facilities, Quinta do Lago Resort amenities, and discounts at hotels, wellness centers, shops, and restaurants. * Fuel discount at all Zona Diesel locations. * Access to WellHub, offering discounts on gyms and wellness apps. * Medical coverage via a health app for employees and their family members, at no cost. * Access to Therapyside, our online therapy platform: 3 free sessions per year, plus special rates for additional sessions. * Fully subsidized internal staff cafeteria for hotel employees and workers on split shifts. * Smart lockers for package delivery, available to employees. * Financial incentive for employees who refer another employee who is subsequently hired. * Discounts at group hotels and golf courses: Quinta do Lago (Portugal), Ballynahinch (Ireland). * Partnership agreements with Ostelea School and others.
