Reporting to the **Chief Manufacturing Officer**, the **Sourcing Director** will lead the global sourcing strategy and advanced supplier management for finished products, responsible for both **strategic negotiation** and **supervision of production engineering teams and representative offices in Asia**. Their mission is to ensure the company's competitiveness through an optimized cost structure, strong and sustainable relationships with key suppliers, and excellent industrial execution—bringing an analytical, technical, and business-oriented perspective to decision-making. **Scope of the Position:** **Strategic:** * Define and lead the global sourcing strategy, aligning industrial capabilities, innovation, sustainability, and cost optimization. * Build long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers, positioning negotiation as a competitive lever for Kave Home. * Manage the cost structure (“unit economics”) and profitability through analysis of production processes, materials, and economies of scale. **Tactical:** * Supervise product launch and improvement projects from a sourcing and industrial feasibility perspective, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timeline targets. * Define the sourcing policy and supplier map, with particular focus on negotiation, development, and consolidation of the supplier panel. * Establish methodologies for supplier selection, development, qualification, and discontinuation, coordinated with production engineering and quality teams. **Operational:** * Lead complex negotiations with international suppliers, supported by cost analysis, breakdowns, value engineering, and production capabilities. * Consolidate agreements ensuring optimal conditions in price, quality, capacity, and lead time. * Supervise compliance with technical, quality, and business requirements (compliance, due diligence, supplier performance indicators). * Drive digitalization of the sourcing function and its integration with production engineering teams and local offices in Asia. * Collaborate closely with demand planning, procurement, logistics, internal manufacturing, and local sourcing teams. **Direct Responsibilities:** * Lead and develop **production engineering**, **sourcing**, and **Asia-based representative office** teams, fostering a culture of advanced negotiation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. * Ensure alignment among product, planning, logistics, and sourcing by defining shared processes and objectives. * Guarantee correct industrial execution of product development and improvement projects (cost, quality, capacity, and timeline). * Lead advanced strategic negotiations with suppliers (cost breakdown, scalability, value engineering). * Optimize competitiveness through improvement proposals for products, processes, and logistics—maintaining quality standards and regional requirements. * Ensure integration of sustainability, traceability, and regulatory compliance criteria (EUDR, ESG) into the supply chain, coordinated with the Sustainability department. **Key Performance Indicators:** T2M for launches, number of new SKUs, product improvements, budget adherence, pricing development, supplier scores and evolution, MOQs, production and delivery lead times, safety stock, % contractual coverage, COGS, GM, MC, and supply cost. **Requirements:** * University degree in Engineering and/or Economics + Supply Chain Management. * +10 years of experience in leadership roles within industrial or high-volume environments. * +5 years of experience in the furniture industry or related industrial sectors. * Proven expertise in **strategic negotiation with international suppliers** and long-term relationship management. * Demonstrable experience leading production engineering and sourcing teams in multicultural organizations, ideally with presence in Asia. * International experience in leadership positions related to import/export/trading. * Strong technical knowledge of industrial processes, cost analysis, industrialization, and product development. * Fluent English.
