Together, we’re building something extraordinary. **About the Role** As an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Technician, you will be responsible for promoting and implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in line with corporate guidelines and current legal requirements. Your goal will be to ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace, leading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a preventive culture across the entire plant. **Your Responsibilities** \- Ensure compliance with regulations related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and industrial safety (ATEX, SEVESO, etc.). Manage environmental permits (atmospheric emissions, waste, and wastewater). Monitor legislative changes and adapt them to the plant. \- Define the HSE strategy aligned with corporate objectives. \- Develop and maintain HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001\). Manage documentation, including procedure development. Lead internal and external audits. Identify non-conformities and define corrective actions. \- Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors. \- Conduct occupational risk assessments and environmental impact assessments. Identify risks and implement control measures. Prioritize critical risks and reduce their impact. \- Design and deliver HSE training programs. Conduct onboarding training for new hires. Keep the training and competency matrix up to date. \- Lead safe behavior programs (Vestacy System Observation). Promote a “zero-accidents” culture. \- Influence managers, supervisors, and operators. Encourage individual accountability for safety. Lead the integration of HSE into business decision-making. Participate in Safety and Health Committee (SHC) meetings. \- Perform daily plant inspections. Supervise compliance with production procedures. \- Investigate incidents and accidents. Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions. \- Develop emergency response plans. Coordinate drills. Act as leader or advisor during crisis situations. \- Manage contractor companies. Ensure contractors comply with EHS requirements. Coordinate business activities (CAE). \- Environment and sustainability: implement plans to reduce environmental impacts (waste, emissions, energy consumption, and water usage). Monitor environmental KPIs. \- Report metrics for KPI calculation. Prepare reports for Corporate. **Requirements** \- Advanced degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with specialization in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Ergonomics. \- 4–5 years of experience in a similar role. \- Knowledge of legal requirements and fire protection systems; familiarity with FM Global standards is preferred. \- Proficiency in MS Office (local and cloud-based tools). \- Electrical certification (desirable). \- High level of self-discipline and results orientation. \- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to implement business-optimized HSE solutions. \- Advanced English proficiency. **Desirable Qualifications** \- ADR Safety training. \- Training and experience in Legionella management. \- Training and experience in management system audits (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001\). \- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. \- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments. **What We Offer** We believe great work deserves great rewards.
