ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKER (SECOND-CLASS TECHNICIAN)

Description

Job Summary: Second-class technician for road maintenance, performing surveillance, repairs, cleaning, pothole patching, pruning, and winter road maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Road accident and incident monitoring and response 2. Repair and maintenance of road safety equipment 3. Operation of winter road maintenance vehicles Road maintenance worker (second-class technician) • Monitoring and response to accidents and incidents • Lane closure operations • Installation and repair of metal barriers, vertical signage, and delineation devices • Manual and/or mechanical mowing and cleaning of road ditches • Pothole patching and pavement repair • Pruning, felling, and vegetation clearance • Excavation and stabilization of slopes and drainage structures • Masonry work for maintenance and repair of road infrastructure • Operation of winter road maintenance vehicles for salt spreading and snow removal * Minimum 1 year of experience. Second-class technician with experience in the construction sector, preferably in road maintenance. Driver's license C is preferred. * Driving license: B * Indefinite-term employment contract * Full-time working hours * Additional information of interest: Salary according to the Girona Construction Collective Agreement
