Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and responsible Maintenance Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance, ensure safety, and manage teams in Canovelles. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration in continuous process improvement We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for a company in Canovelles (Barcelona). Responsibilities include complying with safety measures, such as specific training, use of PPE, and the LOTOTO procedure; starting up and shutting down facilities at the beginning and end of each weekend; and performing corrective maintenance (repairing breakdowns) and preventive maintenance (scheduled replacement of wear parts). The role also involves changing molds on molding machines and training the mold-changing team. Other duties include documenting each action in the computerized management system, requesting spare parts from the procurement manager, participating in periodic inventories, and maintaining order and cleanliness in the workshop, production area, cooling towers, and water pools. The technician will collaborate in identifying opportunities for improvement in maintenance and production. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift schedule covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts (between 06:00 and 06:00\), with breaks established by law. * Minimum experience required for this position. * We seek a proactive and responsible individual. * Living near the workplace is desirable. * Training in machine operation and safety measures. * Knowledge of electricity and mechanics. * Knowledge of pneumatics, welding, lathe, milling machine, and electromechanics. * Proficiency in spoken and written Catalan and/or Spanish. \- English proficiency is desirable. * Completion of compulsory secondary education (ESO). \- Training according to the General Collective Agreement for the Chemical Industry. \- GM/GS qualifications related to this vacancy.
