At Lucta, we are seeking an **Applications Technician** to join our **Applied Research in Fragrances** team. A key role for transforming ideas into real products that inspire, connect, and evoke emotion. **What will you do in this role?** **Explore, apply, and refine fragrances** * Apply fragrances across various categories: **laundry detergents, cosmetics, personal hygiene, ambient fragrance** (candles, reed diffusers, aerosols, etc.). * Follow industrial-scale processes to ensure scalability of each application. * Conduct technical tests and evaluations of **solubility, emulsification, stability, and performance in different bases**. Prepare batches, samples, and evaluation bases for perfumers, evaluators, and customers. * **Innovate and add value** * Contribute to internal sensory evaluations, collaborating closely with perfumers and technical teams. * Support continuous improvement of applications and testing methodologies. * Maintain up-to-date technical databases and records to ensure traceability and technical excellence. **Collaborate and network** * Interact with perfumers, evaluators, sales teams, and laboratory staff. * Ensure every application meets technical, commercial, and sensory expectations. * Provide technical support for internal projects and customer samples. REQUIREMENTS **Requirements** **Your education and knowledge** * High school diploma or equivalent. A **vocational training program (intermediate or advanced level)** related to chemistry, laboratory work, or industrial processes is highly valued. * Languages: **Spanish**, Catalan (optional), English (valued). * Prior experience in laboratory functions, applications, or related tasks is valued. * Knowledge of basic formulation techniques, physicochemical testing, and product handling. **Your personal essence** * An **organized, observant, and meticulous** person, attentive to detail. * Ability to work **autonomously**, responsibly, and with strong organizational skills. * Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn within a specialized environment.
