At Novanotio, we are looking to hire a Backend Java Analyst/Programmer – Microservices to participate in an international multimodal back-office project, within an advanced and stable technological environment, collaborating with teams located in Ireland. This is a long-term position, aimed at senior profiles seeking continued growth in modern microservices-based architectures. ?? MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5–8 years of experience in software application development. Solid experience in microservices-based architecture. Backend development with Java and Spring Boot. Experience with JPA (Hibernate, Spring Data). Design and development of REST APIs following an API-First approach. Knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle and PostgreSQL. ?? WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? Inter-microservice communication: Synchronous and asynchronous (JMS, Feign, etc.). Use of OpenAPI / Swagger specifications. Good development practices and code structuring. Collaborative work environments and international projects. ?? DESIRABLE SKILLS Design patterns and Clean Code principles. CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Deployments in containerized environments. Unix/Linux systems knowledge. Application testing: Unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito). Version control with Git. Cloud knowledge: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. ?? RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS Development and evolution of Java backend microservices. Design, implementation, and maintenance of APIs. Participation in technical and architectural decisions. Integration with other systems and services. Collaboration with international technical teams. Ensuring code quality through testing and best practices. ?? ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Work modality: 100% remote. Reference location: Madrid (residence in the area preferred). Occasional on-site presence: availability to attend up to 2 days onsite when required by the project. Schedule: standard working hours.
