Opportunity to propose improvements in accounting processes An Accountant is required to join a team in Barcelona, with key responsibilities in the accounts receivable area. Main duties include maintaining detailed customer records, efficiently processing transactions, and performing quarterly reconciliations to ensure account accuracy. The selected candidate will also be responsible for generating and periodically reviewing accounts receivable aging reports, as well as collecting data for preparing monthly metrics and reports. Assistance in month-end financial closings and continuous evaluation of existing policies—proposing process improvements—is expected. Confidential handling of sensitive information and support during internal and external audits are fundamental aspects of this role. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate in preparing annual financial statements and manage fixed assets, including entering new items into SAP, performing related journal entries, and calculating depreciation. The working schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a split shift, with working hours between 08:00 and 17:30, including statutory breaks. * Two to five years of experience in similar roles. * Experience with SAP. * Advanced Excel proficiency. * We seek a dynamic, proactive, and solution-oriented individual. * Proximity to the workplace is desirable. * .\- Advanced English proficiency.
