




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced pipe fitter with expertise in installing piping systems and fire protection equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and performing welding, grooving, and pressure testing. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assembly and installation of fire protection systems (FPS) 2. Interpretation of technical drawings and welding/grooving work 3. Corrective and preventive maintenance of installations We are looking for a pipe fitter with prior experience in installing piping systems and fire protection equipment (FPS). The primary duties will include assembling valves, fire hydrants, pipes, and other components related to FPS. Responsibilities will include interpreting technical drawings, performing welding and grooving tasks, and conducting pressure tests, inspections, and commissioning of installations. Corrective and preventive maintenance tasks will also be required. Prior experience in pipe assembly—especially within FPS—is highly valued, as are solid knowledge of fire protection. The ability to interpret technical drawings is essential, as is having a current occupational health and safety training certificate. Training in welding or mechanical work will be considered favorably, as will possession of a valid Class B driving license and personal vehicle. A temporary employment contract is offered, with the possibility of conversion to an indefinite-term contract; full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM; salary aligned with the Asturias Metalworkers’ Collective Agreement.
