Position Summary: Mechanical Engineer for the design and manufacturing of slewing bearings, performing technical calculations, project management, and specification control. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project management and analytical and FEM (ANSYS) technical calculations. 2. CAD mechanical design applied to slewing bearings. 3. Participation in resolving non-conformities and implementing corrective actions. From our P\&PD Engineering team (ATS Global), we are managing the selection process for a Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients — a world-leading and reference company in the design and manufacturing of slewing bearings, located in Azkoitia. The selected candidate will perform the following duties: * Performing analytical technical calculations and project management. * Performing FEM (ANSYS) technical calculations. * CAD mechanical design applied to slewing bearings. * Controlling compliance with customer specifications. * Monitoring and updating applicable regulations. * Participating in cross-functional teams formed to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective or improvement actions. * Participating in daily production and planning meetings. Stable position with potential transition to the client’s permanent staff. * Competitive salary based on profile. * Work modality: on-site, with possibility of partial remote work. * Technical or university degree in Engineering. * Minimum 2 years’ experience with similar responsibilities in engineering roles within metallurgical sector companies. * Languages: English and/or Basque (no official certification required). * Proficiency in ANSYS and FEM simulation. * Experience with SolidWorks and DriveWorks. * Knowledge of environmental aspects inherent to production and occupational hazards related to the position. * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.
