Continuous training: We invest in and promote your talent, with special emphasis on improving your language skills. **Your daily routine will sound like this…** * In the absence of the Deputy Head Chef, you will assume the responsibilities inherent to your immediate superior. * Collaborate in communicating departmental objectives to kitchen staff, as well as reviewing critical processes and area roll-outs via daily mini-meetings, in line with hotel-established standards. * Collaborate in coordinating and managing the work team, supervising compliance with protocols set by Fuerte Group and ensuring a positive working climate. * Guarantee HACCP implementation to ensure adherence to established hygiene standards, monitoring and supervising execution of all relevant procedures. * Monitor that received goods are stored correctly according to food quality and hygiene standards. * Verify that ingredients to be prepared are in optimal condition for consumption. * Prepare various dishes. * Monitor and supervise dishes, paying attention to details and ensuring compliance with established presentation standards. * Ensure proper use of equipment and facilities, and supervise that all utensils and machinery remain in perfect working condition. * Conduct inventory of products required for dish preparation across the hotel’s various sales points. * Place orders for products needed at the hotel’s sales points. * Monitor stock levels in refrigerated storage areas at sales points to prevent product loss. * Monitor refrigerated storage temperatures to guarantee food preservation. * Monitor and supervise equipment usage within the department, as well as its maintenance, reporting any possible incidents. * Collaborate in the selection, evaluation, training, and qualification of kitchen team members according to HR Department methodology, and support the onboarding/integration process. * Carry out other tasks within your scope of responsibility as requested by your direct supervisor. * Comply with—and ensure others comply with—organizational standards regarding quality, safety and health, environmental protection, and data privacy. **Requirements:** --------------- **You’re ideal for this role if…** Vocational Training Level I–II / Intermediate or Higher Vocational Degree in Culinary Arts and Gastronomy. Food Handler Certificate. Minimum 3 years’ experience in this position at 4-star or higher hotels. English and German, Level A1. Microsoft Office, Intermediate level.
