IT Technician / Programmer

Description

The programmer position focuses on the development and maintenance of software applications using Microsoft-specific technologies. Key responsibilities include working with languages such as Visual Basic to create functional user interfaces and robust application logic. In addition, expert handling of relational databases is required, using SQL to design, query, and optimize data structures supporting application operations. Programming within the .NET framework is a fundamental component, covering everything from coding to implementing scalable and efficient solutions. Another important aspect of the role involves collaboration throughout the full software development lifecycle. This includes participation in requirements analysis, technical architecture design, writing clean and well-documented code, and conducting tests to ensure final product quality. The professional will also be responsible for resolving technical incidents, performing corrective and adaptive maintenance on existing systems, and ensuring the integrity and security of data handled by the applications. The work environment encourages continuous learning and application of programming best practices. The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively—contributing to shared projects and aligning with established technical objectives—will be highly valued. A specific qualification as a Higher Technician in Information Technology (equivalent to a Higher Vocational Training Certificate) is required, along with at least three years of demonstrable experience in a similar technical role, including practical proficiency in Visual Basic, SQL for relational databases, and programming within the .NET ecosystem.
