Job Summary: Ingeteam is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to participate in R&D, select and characterize components, and lead analysis of emerging technologies. Key Highlights: 1. Integration into a young, dynamic, and technologically advanced team Ingeteam, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, seeks to hire a Power Electronics Engineer for its Zamudio Converters \& Controls Technology Area. Main responsibilities include: * Participating in R&D projects on power electronics components. * Selecting and characterizing power electronics components for potential use in business unit designs. * Leading analysis and research on emerging technologies. * Defining and developing component test benches and design tools. * Assisting in standardizing design processes and methodologies. * Leading investigations into significant technical issues. * Actively collaborating across the entire value chain—including suppliers, business unit power electronics engineers, procurement, assembly, after-sales service, etc. * Contributing to the development of a power electronics roadmap. Generating new ideas and proposals for technological and/or product improvement. * Keeping up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies and market trends affecting the company’s products and services. * Sharing knowledge across all levels of the organization. * Producing documentation for internal use or customer delivery. **Requirements:** * Engineering degree specialized in power electronics. * Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink. * Minimum English level B2. * Willingness to travel occasionally for short trips. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in a similar role. * Advanced English proficiency. * Additional languages. * Initiative, teamwork, quality and results orientation, and perseverance in problem solving.
