We are seeking a maintenance technician for the Arriaran drinking water treatment plant, located in the Beasain area. The position is for an indefinite-term employment contract. Main responsibilities include carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks at the facility. This covers electrical work, mechanical work, cleaning, construction, and painting. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting faults, implementing improvements, monitoring the overall condition of the plant and its equipment, as well as managing materials, personal protective equipment, and spare parts. Proposals to optimize operations will be valued. An indefinite-term contract is offered from the outset. The initial salary is €37,015.44 gross per year, with potential for improvement. Working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, on morning, afternoon, or split shifts, from 8:30 to 18:00. Rotating on-call duties are included, Monday to Sunday, approximately once per month. Required qualifications: Higher Vocational Training qualification (or equivalent) in electromechanics; driving license B-1; and demonstrable experience of at least six months within the last five years in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance. Team integration skills, willingness to learn, ability to analyze faults, and basic computer user proficiency are valued. Interest in working in Basque is appreciated.
