DESCRIPTION At GP DIGITAL, we are looking for a candidate for an international banking client **Technical Lead Java \& Web Technologies** ------------------------------------------- Would you like to technically lead mission-critical applications in the financial sector, working with Java 21, Angular, and microservice architectures? We are seeking a profile with strong technical vision, leadership capability, and experience in high-availability environments where stability, quality, and continuous improvement are key. **Conditions** --------------- * Contract: **Permanent** * Location: **SPAIN** * Work Mode: **REMOTE** **\>\>** Availability to attend occasional in-person meetings at the client's premises * Working Hours: **9:00 to 18:00** * Summer Hours: 8:00 to 15:00 **Your Responsibilities** ========================= * Act as the **technical reference for mission-critical business applications.** * Ensure **application stability, availability, resilience, and security.** * Provide **Level 3 support** for complex production incidents. * **Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and improvements.** * Develop and maintain **REST APIs** and microservice-based architectures. * Participate in **production deployments** and validations. * Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and business teams. * Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. * Provide technical mentoring to the development team. * Drive **automation initiatives,** continuous improvement, and technical debt reduction. * Participate in **resilience initiatives,** audits, compliance, and disaster recovery. * Identify opportunities for **performance and reliability optimization.** REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory** ================== * **More than 5 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer.** * **More than 5 years of Java development experience.** * Experience with **Java 21**. * Experience with **Angular**. * Experience developing **REST APIs and microservices**. * Apache Maven. * NodeJS. * Relational databases. * Experience writing unit tests. * Object-oriented design and enterprise application development. * Experience with **Agile methodologies.** * Experience with **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.** * Experience supporting mission-critical production applications. * Ability to design technical solutions. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to manage stakeholders. * **C1-level English proficiency is mandatory.** \>\> International scope project **Desirable** ============= * Experience in **banking or financial services.** * Knowledge of **Credit Risk or Lending.** * Experience with **ITIL.** * Tools for **monitoring and observability.** * Cloud and application modernization. * Solution architecture. * Regulatory processes and **compliance.** * Prior experience as an Application Owner. * Experience working with external vendors.
