GP Pharm is a pharmaceutical company founded in 2000 in Barcelona; its pharmaceutical plant is located in Sant Quintí de Mediona (Alt Penedès). The company specializes in injectable products, including drug delivery systems based on microspheres, liposomes, and lipid nanoparticles. Our main therapeutic areas of interest are Oncology, Urology, and Women’s Health. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer. **Job Mission:** Design and implement construction and service projects, equipment, and facilities, including new acquisitions, expansions, or improvements. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with the user in defining and drafting the “User Requirements.” * Prepare design specifications complying with applicable regulations within the scope of activity. * Prepare technical documentation for requesting quotations from suppliers and contractors, and prepare the project budget by comparing received quotations on both technical and economic grounds. * Manage documentation, budgetary control, and project scheduling to meet established completion deadlines. * Construction management and commissioning. * Provide support during validation phases until final handover of the project to the internal client. * Responsible for permits and legalizations with public authorities within the project scope. * Together with Occupational Health and Safety (PRL), authorize/issue special work permits. **Specific Knowledge:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. * Experience in engineering projects and facility management, civil works, and machinery within the industry. * Knowledge of industrial safety regulations. * Knowledge of pharmaceutical sector health regulations. * Languages: Minimum level FCE. Native Catalan and Spanish. * Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in office software, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD. * Communication skills. * Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible, and problem-solving oriented. **Experience:** * Preferably 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and/or chemical industry. **Additional Information:** * Flexible working hours and shortened Friday schedule. * Flexible remuneration. * Remote work (2 days/month)
