Quality Engineer – Development

Position Summary: Responsible for defining, controlling, and improving the quality of production processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead direct communication with customers and project teams. 2. Documentary quality management for new projects according to standards. 3. Analysis and resolution of deviations using methodologies such as 8D. Reporting to the Plant Development Director, the selected candidate will actively participate in the **definition, control, and improvement of production process quality**, contributing to ensuring efficiency, standardization, and compliance with internal and customer requirements. *Main Responsibilities:* * Ensure application of the development methodology (risk analysis, SF, full-rate testing, process FMEA, contingency surveillance plans) * Analyze and resolve internal or customer deviations during project development and series launch phases, using problem-solving methodologies and tools: 8D, Ishikawa, 5W. * Manage and develop quality documentation for new projects, in accordance with OEM standards, APQP, dimensional requirements, test reports, process capability studies, customer load books, product/process approvals, significant and regulatory characteristics. * Supervise and internally approve prototype/pre-series tests for product\-process development. * Ensure product and process quality through statistical controls. * Lead direct communication with customers and project teams on all matters related to technical documentation exchange, requests for concessions/deviations, across all development phases. * Manage and implement action plans arising from internal and customer process/product audits. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, plus at least one year of experience as a Quality Engineer in industrial companies, preferably in the automotive industry.
