Location: Madrid, ES Professional Profile: Defense and Security Required Experience: Position Type: * ️ Do you work with **cloud computing, Kubernetes, or edge computing**, and would you like to participate in **defense-related projects**? We are looking for a **Cloud \& Edge Computing Engineer** in **Madrid** to join advanced technology projects focused on **distributed architectures, microservices, and cloud\-edge platforms**. You will be part of a technical team working with **hybrid cloud infrastructures, container orchestration, and DevOps technologies**, contributing to the design and integration of **highly distributed and scalable digital solutions**. **Your Responsibilities:** * Design and implementation of cloud and edge computing architectures. * Integration of hybrid cloud infrastructures (public and private cloud). * Development of microservices- and API-based solutions. * Container management and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker. * Implementation of service mesh and event mesh technologies. * Integration of edge solutions with cloud services, optimizing latency and data processing. * Development of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible. * Implementation of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. * Participation in European R\+D projects within advanced technological environments. **What We Are Looking For:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. * 4–5 years of experience in cloud computing and edge computing. * Experience with public and private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack). * Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. * Knowledge of microservices architectures and API management. * Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. * **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or event mesh. Experience with edge architectures and distributed data processing. Participation in European research projects.
