Trek believes the bicycle can be the solution to many of the planet’s most complex challenges and is committed to breaking down barriers so everyone can ride more often—as transportation, recreation, or even inspiration. **Job Description:** Responsibilities of the mechanic include, but are not limited to: **Performing Work Orders \= 90%** * The mechanic is responsible for completing point-of-sale work orders within scheduled deadlines. * Performing the following services (within the scheduled time frame): All tune-ups and inspections, from basic to comprehensive packages. * Custom services, including but not limited to: * Cable and housing replacement * Derailleur adjustment/repair * Brake adjustment/repair * Shifter replacement/repair * Chain, cassette, handlebar tape/grip replacement * Wheel truing * Wheel repair * Suspension inspection * Drivetrain cleaning * Disc brake and dropper post inspection * Inspecting and assessing frame and other component damage for replacement * Communicating estimated completion time and/or budget adjustments to the customer following inspection **Miscellaneous Duties \= 10%** * On-site repairs when necessary * Assisting with sales when needed * Interacting with and delivering high-quality customer service both over the phone and in person * Performing other tasks assigned by management **What You’ll Bring to the Team** * A positive, motivated attitude to help every customer find what they need. * Exceptional hospitality: warm, approachable demeanor; strong listening skills; and genuine willingness to help—especially on the busiest, most demanding days. * Effective communication with customers and team members * Commitment to delivering the best possible cycling experience for every customer. **What We Offer** * Indefinite-term, full-time contract – Split shifts * Employee discount on bicycles and accessories * Financial incentive for commuting to work by bicycle * Life insurance *If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over\-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*
