We are seeking to hire a person for the **Runner** position, responsible for supporting dining room operations to ensure agile, efficient, and quality-standard-aligned service. The person in this role will play a fundamental part in coordinating between the kitchen, bar, and dining room, ensuring correct delivery of food and beverages and contributing to a seamless experience for guests and customers. Their primary objective will be to support the service team in guaranteeing operational excellence throughout service. **What would your responsibilities be?** ***Service Support*** * Transport food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to tables quickly and efficiently. * Support the dining room team during service to ensure proper guest and customer attention. * Verify that orders are delivered correctly and in accordance with established standards. * Assist in restocking materials required for service. * Respond to instructions from the dining room team to ensure smooth operations. ***Dining Room Operations*** * Prepare service stations and materials prior to opening. * Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas during service. * Assist in setting up and breaking down tables as needed. * Collaborate in restaurant opening and closing tasks. * Ensure proper handling and transportation of tableware, glassware, and service utensils. ***Quality and Customer Experience*** * Contribute to a fast and efficient service experience. * Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-oriented attitude. * Ensure presentation and service standards are consistently upheld. * Collaborate with the team to resolve operational issues during service. * Represent the property’s hospitality values and standards. ***Coordination and Teamwork*** * Maintain constant communication with the kitchen, bar, and dining room team. * Support various operational areas according to service needs. * Actively collaborate to ensure team objectives are met. * Follow operational guidelines and procedures. * Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. **What do we require from you?** ***Education*** * Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related education is valued. ***Experience*** * Prior experience in Runner, Waiter/Waitress Assistant, or similar roles is valued. * Experience in hotels, restaurants, or high-volume establishments will be considered an advantage. ***Languages*** * Advanced level of English. * Additional languages are valued. ***Key Competencies*** * Customer- and service-oriented mindset. * Agility and dynamism. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Organization and attention to detail. * Proactivity and positive attitude. * Ability to work in fast-paced environments. ***Technical Knowledge*** * Basic knowledge of dining room operations and restaurant service. * Proper handling of tableware, glassware, and service materials. * Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations. * Experience with hospitality or restaurant service standards is valued.
