Professional growth opportunities and up-to-date technology stack. #### **About the Role: Backend Engineer (Java \& Spring Boot)** LUZA Group is looking for a **Backend Engineer (Java \& Spring Boot)** for a major cargo transportation company in Spain. What will your responsibilities be? * Development of microservices and REST APIs (Java 17, Spring Boot 3\). * API-first design and OpenAPI contracts. * Persistence using JPA/Hibernate and PostgreSQL. * Continuous improvement: code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and code quality. * Architecture evolution (pragmatic hexagonal approach) and integrations. * Coordination with business stakeholders and analysts to refine requirements. * Technical reference from day-to-day execution. Requirements: * 8 years of software development experience, including 5 years in Java backend development. * Solid experience in production-ready REST APIs. * Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Maven, JPA/Hibernate, and PostgreSQL. * Experience in collaborative environments (Git, code reviews, CI/CD). * Knowledge of Docker, messaging/Kafka, and observability. * Strong technical judgment, with a focus on quality and maintainability.
