Description
This position is essential to the plant’s operational functioning and is divided into two main assignment areas: Logistics and Composition/Furnaces.
In the Logistics area, the professional will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring that goods are handled safely. Additionally, they must perform correct stacking of finished glass pallets, optimizing available space in the dispatch warehouse and guaranteeing agile and accessible product placement for subsequent distribution.
In the Composition/Furnaces area, responsibilities focus on the continuous supply of raw materials and essential inputs to mixing zones and melting furnaces. This involves systematically removing processed materials and handling heavy loads by moving them between different plant locations using the forklift. In both areas, a critical aspect is maintaining constant safety and smooth vehicle circulation within the facility, preventing accidents and bottlenecks.
The role demands meticulous attention to operational safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. The ultimate objective is to contribute to a seamless production and logistics chain, where efficient material handling via forklift serves as a cornerstone of overall productivity. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to meet the demands of a high-volume industrial facility.
A competitive gross salary of €19.43 per worked hour is offered. The work regime follows a 6x4 shift schedule, meaning six consecutive rotating workdays followed by four consecutive days off. Initial employment is temporary, with potential for permanent integration into the workforce in the future, and immediate start date.
A valid and up-to-date forklift operator license is mandatory. Demonstrable prior experience and proficiency in operating forklifts—preferably in industrial environments or high-volume logistics warehouses—are required. The ideal candidate must have full availability to adapt to a rotating 6x4 shift schedule, as well as personal transportation for commuting to the plant.
