We are currently looking for a Data Engineer with solid experience in Databricks and Python, focused on data ingestion, transformation, and modeling, who will support an existing Power BI reporting environment. The primary focus of this role will be on Databricks and Python—preparing and standardizing the tables consumed by Power BI reports (the reports already exist and are not developed from scratch). **Responsibilities:** * Work in Databricks using Python for data ingestion and transformation. * Prepare and structure optimized final tables serving as the data source for Power BI reports. * Review current processes and migrate transformation logic to Databricks, centralizing and standardizing the data model. * Maintain and adapt existing Power BI reports, ensuring they correctly consume the new tables generated from Databricks. * Support optimization and maintenance of data pipelines. * Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure data quality and consistency. **What We’re Looking For:** * More than 4 years of experience in data-related roles (e.g., Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar). * Solid experience with Databricks and Python. * Experience working with Power BI (consumption of data models, report maintenance). * Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, and modeling processes. * Ability to analyze existing processes and propose technical improvements. **Conditions:** * Permanent contract with Arelance. * Hybrid work mode in Madrid (50/50). * Salary up to €44k SBA depending on experience provided.
