In Spain, we operate four production centers: Granollers (Biscuits), Montornés del Vallés (Desserts), Viana (Biscuits), and Hospital de Órbigo (Cheese). This opportunity is specifically for the Viana plant. Oreo, Fontaneda, Chips Ahoy and Príncipe are among the products we manufacture and distribute both in Spain and across Europe. **Purpose of the Role** As a Continuous Improvement Trainee, you will participate in various efficiency and waste reduction projects on your assigned production line using TPM methodology. You will gain first-hand experience with core pillar processes such as progressive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and focused improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Observe, analyze and challenge current practices and processes used in the plant. * Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identify root causes of deviations, and propose corrective actions. * Train and support plant personnel to understand and implement TPM methodology tools. * Participate in the Improvement Idea Selection (Kaizen) process and support implementation of selected ideas. **Requirements:** * University degree or higher vocational qualification (e.g., Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science and Technology) * Fluent Spanish and fluent English required * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office **Skills / Leadership Competencies** * Communication skills and ease of interaction with plant personnel * Teamwork capability * Observation, analytical and listening skills **What You Should Know About This Role:** 12-month internship contract **Additional Value You’ll Bring:** * Process improvement: Evaluate processes and interpret data to develop actions aimed at eliminating losses and enhancing line performance. * Participate in the development and launch of new products and projects. * Contribute to cultural transformation by collaborating across departments to support the core team in pursuing operational excellence—with a mindset of zero losses and zero accidents. **Education/Certifications:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline. English level B2/C1.
