




Position Summary: Responsible for Planning and Scheduling to coordinate departments, schedule orders, and optimize resources at ArcelorMittal. Key Highlights: 1. Resource optimization and on-time delivery ArcelorMittal is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Manager for its Salvatierra \- Agurain facilities (AMDS Processing). The candidate will coordinate across departments (Sales, Production, and Supply Chain) and carry out scheduling tasks. Candidates must hold a university degree related to production and possess significant experience in these responsibilities. **Main Responsibilities** **In Planning:** * Schedule orders. * Create batches and manufacturing orders. * Coordinate with Sales, Quality, and Supply Chain departments. * Ensure on-time delivery. * Avoid slow-moving items by always scheduling the oldest first. * Generate lists of pending orders. * Check raw material availability before assigning to the order to be scheduled. * Link orders to coils. * Assign machines to achieve required cuts, widths, and lengths. * Fleeting \+ sheet metal may also be applied when coil width does not meet customer requirements. **In Scheduling:** * Coordinate and supervise all activities within the planning area. * Monitor compliance with the Integrated Commercial Production Plan (ICPP), based on received orders and available resources. * Receive platform orders on time and in full quantity. * Assign commitment dates based on raw material availability, production capacity, and the defined ICPP. * Optimize scheduling of all received and accepted orders in planning—by selecting optimal routes, suitable raw materials, setups, etc.—at the most appropriate time. * Monitor order loading status and intermediate stock levels. * Develop and monitor defined work plans. * Track order fulfillment progress at the factory. * Report possible issues affecting order fulfillment via timely notifications. * Interact with customer service in cases of urgency, delays, or order modifications. * Define the weekly shift plan. **Minimum Requirements** * University degree related to production activities. * Minimum two years’ experience in Planning, Supply Chain, and/or Production. * *Soft Skills:* Teamwork capability, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of product costing and production planning. * Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Training in Occupational Risk Prevention will be valued. * English language proficiency will be valued. **At ArcelorMittal, we believe in Zero.** We believe in the goal of zero accidents, and all company employees work toward achieving it. *ArcelorMittal takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer.
