Daily tasks include sorting garments by category, loading and unloading washing machines, tunnel washers, dryers, and pick\-ups, and programming equipment according to fabric type. Calenders are operated either automatically or manually; items are folded manually; and quality control is performed, separating defective garments. In addition, clean batches are transported, orders are prepared, loads are weighed, and documentation is recorded. Basic maintenance tasks include clearing blockages and participating in inventory counts.
