Promotion of continuous learning and professional development We are looking for a candidate for our **Office of Knowledge and Technology Transfer** to fill the position of **Knowledge Transfer Manager.** Through the University of Navarra’s Office of Knowledge and Technology Transfer, we foster cutting-edge research that makes a meaningful social impact. We effectively connect academic research with the business world to catalyze positive and sustainable change in our environment. The selected candidate, integrated into the Office of Knowledge and Technology Transfer, will be responsible for coordinating the transfer of knowledge generated by the research activities of the BIOMA Institute and the Institute of Nutrition and Health of the University of Navarra, as well as their respective research groups. **Responsibilities and Tasks:** Their primary role will be the valuation and transfer of knowledge generated at the BIOMA Institute and the Institute of Nutrition and Health, providing strategic and operational support in managing and coordinating knowledge transfer and innovation activities, thereby contributing to the real-world impact of this research. To achieve this, they will focus on the following responsibilities and tasks: **1\. Project Scouting:** a. Review and monitoring of research group projects, including both internally funded and externally funded projects (e.g., European, national, or regional calls). b. Identification of results with transfer potential, in collaboration with research groups. c. Close collaboration with research teams to align scientific objectives with transfer opportunities. **2\. Strategic Analysis:** a. Market analysis and assessment of trends in technology sectors related to research lines; technological surveillance. b. Evaluation of the commercial potential of developed technologies. c. Definition of business models and commercialization strategies tailored to each technology or project. d. Development of Business Cases, including financial, feasibility, and impact analyses. **3\. Negotiation and Networking:** a. Identification of target entities, technology partners, and commercial collaborators. b. Negotiation and formalization of transfer agreements (CDAs, MTAs, Licensing Agreements, etc.) with both national and international entities. c. Promotion of the technology portfolio and commercialization of technologies. d. Participation in sector-specific technology transfer networks. e. Attendance at specialized business events in the field. **4\. Collaboration with the UCC on dissemination and outreach of results.** Responsibilities and duties will be adapted according to the selected candidate’s expertise and experience. **Candidate Profile:** * **Education**: Master’s and/or PhD in Engineering (any specialization) or Experimental Sciences, preferably with expertise in the relevant field. * Specific training in knowledge transfer and industrial property. * **Languages**: High-level English, both written and spoken, demonstrable. Additional languages are valued. * **Experience**: Proven experience in similar roles and responsibilities; familiarity with the Spanish Science and Technology System. * **Competencies**: Experience in project management, analytical capacity, strong communication and teamwork skills, initiative, and strategic vision. **What We Offer:** * Indefinite-term employment contract. * Weekly working hours of 37.5, with work–life balance policies and flexible scheduling. * Competitive salary based on profile and experience.
