Job Summary:
We are seeking a Direct Care Educator to accompany children and adolescents in their development, providing emotional support, promoting autonomy, and serving as an emotional reference.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accompany and support the development of children and adolescents
2. Serve as an emotional reference and a role model for inclusive behavior
3. Promote the personal and social autonomy of those served
You will work as a Direct Care Educator, accompanying children and adolescents in their development within the individualized educational program, supported by the team. Intervention information is recorded in a follow-up journal and shared during shift changes. You will also safeguard and protect minors both inside and outside the center, identifying their material and emotional needs to activate appropriate responses.
You become an emotional reference, offering a safe emotional space where minors feel validated and loved. You serve as a model for identification in terms of inclusive behavioral patterns and social roles. The personal and social autonomy of those served is promoted. In the case of foreign minors, language acquisition, administrative regularization, sociocommunity integration, and sociolaboral promotion are addressed. Additionally, you may be required to testify in judicial proceedings upon request by the Court, the Public Prosecutor's Office, or the Public Entity.
**Working hours are rotating shifts:** mornings, afternoons, weekday nights, weekend nights, or weekend days. Full-time schedule.
**Professional Experience:**
1 to 3 years of experience
**Education:**
University degree in Social Education or Social Work.
