




We are Applus\+ Laboratories, the division of the Applus\+ Group that provides testing, certification, and product development engineering services. In the Materials and Mechanics area, we evaluate the properties of various materials, components, and structures for the aerospace, automotive, railway, wind energy industries, among others. Our experts assist clients in developing their products and complying with any applicable regulations. We are currently expanding and seeking a CNC Operator to join our team on a permanent basis. What will your day-to-day responsibilities be? \- You will manufacture, machine, and assemble the fixtures/samples required for structural or materials testing carried out in the laboratory. \- You will ensure proper compliance with the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. \- You will work with various types of materials: high-performance steels and alloys, inconel, titanium, aluminiums, carbon fibre, etc. What are we looking for? \- Previous experience in a similar position. \- Education: Vocational Training (Intermediate or Higher Level) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electromechanics, Maintenance, Metal Structures, or related fields. \- Proficiency in CNC (milling and/or turning) is essential; experience with FAGOR systems is preferred. \- Experience with workshop tools (band saws, cutoff machines, radial drills, torque wrenches, polishers, etc.) will be valued. \- Ability to interpret 2D assembly drawings. \- Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Ficus, etc.).
