Job Summary: We are seeking qualified personnel to install ventilation systems and fire-rated doors on construction sites, with the ability to read blueprints and operate tools. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation of ventilation systems and fire-rated doors. 2. Work on construction and building projects. 3. Reading and interpreting blueprints for efficient assembly. We seek qualified personnel to carry out ventilation system installations in Avilés and surrounding areas. Main tasks will include fabrication and assembly of ventilation ducts, as well as installation of fire-rated doors with their accessories. Work will primarily take place on construction sites, especially residential buildings and garages. Daily responsibilities will involve reading and interpreting installation blueprints, and using appropriate hand tools and machinery for efficient assembly. It is essential that the candidate can work independently while collaborating effectively with the team, adapting to each construction project. A temporary contract is offered, with potential conversion to permanent employment; full-time schedule from Monday to Friday; remuneration according to the Asturias Metalworkers’ Collective Agreement. We seek a detail-oriented, cooperative, and responsible individual. A minimum of two years’ experience in ventilation duct assembly or similar installations is required. Prior experience on building construction sites is mandatory. Completion of the 20-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) course specific to the metal sector is compulsory. Additional training—6 hours in plumbing and HVAC, or in metal structures—is considered a strong asset. Teamwork capability and willingness to travel to various construction sites are essential for this position.
