Propose technical improvements to enhance equipment reliability. **Job Description:** **Production Mechanic – Front End** -------------------------------------- ### **Job Mission** Ensure proper functionality, availability, and efficiency of equipment located at the initial section of the production line (front end) by performing preventive, corrective maintenance and continuous improvement activities, minimizing downtime and ensuring production process quality. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on front-end machinery to ensure optimal operation. * Diagnose and repair basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures on production equipment. * Respond promptly to incidents to minimize production line downtime. * Replace and adjust components such as bearings, motors, transmissions, sensors, and control systems. * Adjust, calibrate, and commission equipment to ensure product quality. * Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure operational continuity. * Identify recurring failures and propose technical improvements to enhance equipment reliability. * Record maintenance interventions in the management system (GMAO/CMMS). * Strictly comply with safety procedures, including lockout-tagout (LOTO). * Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or modifications to existing lines. * Support other technicians and share knowledge within the maintenance team.
