**Positions Available** ---------------------- 2 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 2 Forestry Engineers or Master's Degree Holders in Forestry Engineering \- Peri-urban Fire Prevention Plans (Cáceres) in the Extremadura Region. **Workplace** -------------------- * Extremadura Region Address: C/ Benito Arias 1, Mérida **Responsibilities and Tasks** ---------------------- * Partial technical direction of office and field work, organizing and supervising the execution of various tasks carried out by the project’s technical team * Advanced analysis and processing of territorial information, integrating cartographic, environmental, urban, and forestry data sources * Assessment of wildfire risk in peri-urban areas, including characterization of the physical environment, land use, fuel models, and vulnerability elements * Technical delimitation of peri-urban protection strips and bands according to applicable regulations, as well as spatial definition of preventive actions * Design and organization of technical field visits for analysis: Planning, monitoring, and conducting visits to municipalities to assess areas affected by the Peri-urban Fire Prevention Plans * Design, definition, and justification of preventive measures, including vegetation treatments, infrastructure development, and fire defense actions * Drafting of the technical report for the PPPIs and validation of annexes, ensuring technical coherence and compliance with regulatory requirements * Supervision of cartographic production, guaranteeing correct georeferencing, data structuring, and adaptation to the model required by the competent administration * Technical coordination with municipal councils and other administrations, integrating local information into plan development **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the stated requirements and/or merits must be substantiated through evaluation tests and/or by attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any time during the selection process, documentary evidence supporting the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the candidate’s CV whenever such information is necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * You hold a degree in Forestry Engineering or a University Master’s Degree in Forestry Engineering (MECES Level 3\) (degree officially recognized in Spain or an equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Class B driver’s license (to be attached). **Merit Criteria (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Advanced training or university master’s degree in wildfire prevention and suppression (documentary proof required upon application submission) * Training or experience in using GIS applications: ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap), QGIS, or similar software (certification or CV and employment history to be attached) * Training in budgeting software, economic control of construction projects, and price database development (documentary proof required upon application submission) * Knowledge of forestry, environmental, and wildfire-related regulations applicable in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura (certification or CV and employment history to be attached) ### **Prior Experience** * Between 1 month and 6 months of experience in drafting fire prevention plans and related instruments. * Between 1 month and 6 months of experience in drafting forestry-related projects. * Between 1 month and 6 months of experience in cartographic production. ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Experience in team leadership, coordination of resources and means, and performance of supervision and control duties. **Observations** ----------------- * A fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months’ duration is offered, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum total of 9 months, if applicable. + Full-time position.
