Job Summary: Tragsa is seeking a Pilot for passenger transport on river routes, responsible for the vessel, crew, and passengers, performing navigation maneuvers and supervising operational condition. In charge of daily inspections and reporting maintenance requirements. **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in rural development and nature conservation works, seeks to hire 1 Pilot to reinforce the river route activities at the Santo Estevo and Os Peares reservoirs. **Work Location** -------------------- * Lugo River Route Service along the Ribeira Sacra, departing from the Ponte do Sil (Monforte de Lemos) and Belesar Pobo (O Saviñao) embarkation points. **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Core duties of an inland waterways vessel pilot for passenger transport on river routes, assuming responsibility for the vessel and its facilities, as well as for the crew and passengers. * Perform navigation maneuvers, direct docking and undocking operations, and supervise boarding and disembarkation procedures for passengers. * Conduct daily inspections of the vessel and its facilities—including fluid levels, cleanliness status, etc.—and be responsible for reporting required maintenance, potential malfunctions, and refueling needs when necessary. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the stated requirements and/or merits must be substantiated through evaluation tests and/or by attaching supporting documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any stage of the process, documentary evidence validating the information provided in the application, as well as to require supplementary information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the specified requirements and/or merits. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Port Captain certification or other Merchant Marine qualifications authorizing passenger transport. ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish Class B driver’s license, currently in force. **Merit Criteria (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Additional Meritorious Factors** * Demonstrable professional experience as a vessel pilot specifically for passenger transport. * Complementary training in navigation, naval mechanics, tourism, communication and social skills, geography (particularly the Ribeira Sacra geodestiny and Lugo province), ethnography, history, environmental studies, or occupational risk prevention, completed no earlier than five years prior to the course date. * General demonstrable professional experience as a vessel pilot. * Additional qualifications relevant to the position to be filled. **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months duration + Full-time working hours + Expected start date in April The application period will remain open from today, 27/03/2026, until 06/04/2026 at 23:59 (Peninsular Time).
