




Job Summary: Responsible for organizing, allocating, and coordinating kitchen staff, as well as preparing and seasoning meals, while supervising menus and dietary regimens. Supervise the development of menus and special diets *Work Schedule Description:* \- 40-hour employment contract \- Working hours: 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, alternating between long and short weeks *Location:* \- Mimara Residencia Palacio de Leceñes \- Leceñes, Asturias *Job Description:* Responsible for service delivery, organization, allocation, and coordination of all personnel assigned to the kitchen, as well as meal preparation and seasoning, in accordance with prescribed menus and dietary regimens, supervised by the medical and nutrition departments. The following functions and responsibilities, as well as any others requested by the facility, shall be carried out: \- Prepare menus in compliance with current regulations. \- Conduct special monitoring of diets and allergens present in each food item. \- Adjust portion sizes according to prescriptions issued by medical staff. \- Assume responsibility for assembling meal carts with prepared menus. \- Receive food supplies, store them, and supervise both quantity and quality. \- Submit orders to the General Services Coordinator or Housekeeper, managing procurement as stipulated. \- Monitor daily food expiration dates and ensure proper storage distribution within refrigerated chambers, in accordance with health authority regulations. \- Organize, supervise, and control cleaning, maintenance, and orderliness of kitchen facilities, equipment, and utensils. \- Retain daily menu samples in compliance with current regulations. *Required Qualifications and Competencies:* \- Formal qualification, professional license, and/or relevant experience required to perform duties, as stipulated by current regulations. \- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team. \- Food Handler’s Certificate Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract License/Certification: * Food Handler’s Certificate (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site employment
