Position Summary: We are seeking a lathe-mill machinist and CNC operator for the manufacturing and assembly of aerospace structures at a space production unit, with skills in machining and maintenance. Advanced knowledge of machining and trigonometry **Job Description:** We are looking for a professional to join our space production business unit located in Getafe: * Required vocational training qualification. * Knowledge and experience in using measuring tools. * Experience in the sector and as a CNC operator and lathe-mill machinist for at least 2 years; vertical lathe-mill experience is desirable. * Experience in assembly of aerospace structures (adhesives, riveting, and insert assembly). * English proficiency is highly desirable. * Team player. * Knowledge of vertical lathe-mill equipment: characteristics, axes, applications, etc. * Knowledge of conventional machining of composite material parts: tools, parameters, etc. * Knowledge of trigonometry, Cartesian-polar coordinates, etc. * Ability to operate a CNC machine according to material properties, use of tooling and fixturing, and monitoring of the control software. Ability to perform first-level maintenance of production equipment. * Operate CNC manufacturing machines, perform dimensional control, or modify parts. * Ability to operate conventional manufacturing machinery according to material properties, use of tooling and fixturing. Ability to perform first-level maintenance. * Conduct first-level maintenance inspections and first-level quality inspections. Input: Raw materials, machinery, tooling and tools, standard parts and components, documentation (technical instructions, user manual, CNC control software, work orders, and job cards). Output: Manufacturing of parts ready for assembly, integration, and testing. Work will be performed on rotating shifts (three-shift system).
