Madrid, Spain (Hybrid) Acts as the representative of the Procurement organization in any Bid and/or Project. Responsible for structuring and defining the global Procurement strategy, coordinating all Procurement requirements across various Business Segments to respond to our Customers’ demands, maintaining continuous coordination with various stakeholders both within Procurement and Operations, as well as other departments (Bids\&Projects, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Legal…). **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** As part of the **Procurement** team, the main responsibilities of the Procurement Bids\&Projects Manager would be: * Define the global procurement strategy for a Bid and/or Project, both in the Domestic and Export markets, ensuring full coordination with other involved Hitachi Rail entities and the corresponding Business Segment. * Identify associated Risks and Opportunities, defining possible mitigation plans and improvement initiatives — both to enhance business competitiveness during the Bid phase and to increase profitability during the Project phase. * Contribute innovation and added value in defining the technical solutions proposed by the Engineering department. * Coordinate the network of Category Managers and Suppliers involved in the process to fulfill and ensure Procurement’s required contribution (in terms of cost, timeline, and quality) according to business needs. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:** * Education: Engineering (preferred) or Business Administration and Management (ADE) * Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in a Procurement department, or alternatively in bid management (Bid Manager) and/or project management (Project Manager, Project Controller/Planner…). * Experience or knowledge in the Railway Signaling sector will be valued. * Desirable certification in Procurement (CIPS, EIPM or similar) or in Project Management (IPMA, PMP or similar). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * High-level English (C1\-C2\) Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
