Due to significant growth in the Transportation and Infrastructure sector \| WSP is seeking to enhance the capabilities of its Geotechnics and Underground Works team \| WSP in our offices in Santander or Madrid by hiring a Geotechnical Engineer. You will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company’s core values: solidarity, passion for large-scale and complex projects, and an innovative and friendly spirit. **Your New Role: What Does It Involve?** Your key responsibilities will include foundation and underpinning calculations; design of retaining structures—such as retaining walls, diaphragm walls (continuous, discontinuous, or anchored); coordination with various disciplines involved in designing the solution; use of specialized software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, Rido, or Slide; definition and supervision of ground treatment and improvement methods (e.g., jet-grouting, preloading, gravel columns, among others); and slope stability analysis for fills and cuttings. **What Are We Looking for?** We seek a candidate holding a degree in Civil Engineering (Highways, Canals and Ports), Civil Engineering, or a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, with over ten years of professional experience.
